The main theme in the book is about helping you understand the underlying laws of luck and variance so you can to better mentally prepared to tackle unpleasant side of the game. These are such things as dealing with losing a session or having a downswing (although the author claims there it isn't exist such thing as a downswing theoretically).

The book is well-written and is full of sound advice and explanations of the conditions concerning gambling. At the downside, the content in the book are seldom original and often quite obvious.
